Evazote® EV50 is the highest-density material in the Evazote® range at 50kg/m³ (approx. 3.1 pcf).
Manufactured using the same cross-linked ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) material as EV30 and EV45CN, the higher density of Evazote® EV50 provides increased abrasion resistance, superior tear strength, and excellent compression recovery under repeated heavy loads. As a result, EV50 is more suited to conditions that could puncture, tear, or compressively flatten the lower-density options. Typical applications include industrial gaskets, building expansion joints, and high-impact sports protection.
As official suppliers of Zotefoam products in the UK, at Polyformes, we enable you to source a wide range of materials and converted products. Our in-house experts, conversion equipment and stock holding mean you can benefit from a solution tailored precisely to your application.
The values provided in this product information represent data gathered from random samples of Zotefoam’s production of Evazote® EV30 foam and represent typical data. These are given to the best of our knowledge and should be considered as guidance for selecting a suitable grade for a given application. Please contact our foam experts for further advice if required.
