If you need to deliver parts or components between manufacturing sites, or store them in a warehouse, Euro containers are the industry-standard.
Euro containers are moulded plastic containers designed to integrate with pallets, conveyors, warehouse racking, and automated handling systems. Their footprint means they fit exactly onto standard 1200 mm × 800 mm Euro pallets, maximising transport efficiency. They also feature handles and stacking rims for ease of use, and often include interior dividers or dunnage. They provide a durable, efficient and reusable solution for handling products throughout supply chains, making them popular within the automotive, aerospace, engineering, and manufacturing sectors.
At Polyformes, we can supply Euro containers with all the features you need (lids, handholes, etc.) quickly and cost-effectively. We can also enhance any Euro Containers your business uses with foam dunnage/inserts that protect valuable parts and components and improve staff productivity.
Please see below for the standard sizes Euro containers are available in. If you cannot see your required size, please contact us.
A summary of sizing information for Euro containers is as follows:

The benefits of using Euro containers include:

A standard Euro pallet measures 1200 x 800 mm. Per single layer, it can hold four 600 x 400 mm containers, eight 400 x 300 mm, or sixteen 300 x 200mm. Being modular, however, different combinations can be achieved using different sizes. The overall number of containers per pallet depends on the height of the containers and the maximum height limit of the transport vehicle.
The majority of standard Euro containers are manufactured from either Polypropylene (PP) or High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). These materials are both impact- and chemical-resistant and can withstand temperature extremes from -5°C to +70°C. These properties make them highly durable and suited for logistics and cold storage.
A single Euro container typically has a weight capacity of 20-50 kg. This limit can vary depending on the size and construction of the container (with some featuring additional reinforcements). When stacked, the reinforced rims allow a vertical column load of up to 200 kg on the bottom container.
“KLT” stands for Kleinladungsträger, which is German for “small load carrier.” It is simply the industrial and automotive-specific term for a standard Euro container that strictly complies with the VDA 4500 standardisation rules for automated warehouse systems.
