Plastazote® MP15 FR

Plastazote® MP15 FR is a low-density, flame-retardant grade of material (density 15kg/m3).

Plastazote® MP15 FR is a closed-cell polyethylene foam that is chemically treated to offer high resistance to ignition and self-extinguishing properties without compromising its lightweight structure. MP15 FR is typically selected over alternative standard grades for applications requiring strict compliance with fire safety regulations and where ensuring minimal weight addition is crucial. As such, it is a popular choice for interior lining, thermal insulation, and protective packaging across the aerospace, automotive, and public transport sectors.

At Polyformes, our team of foam experts can provide free, impartial advice on the best foam grade (and type) for your specific product, industry, or application. This includes a huge range of specialist grades of material not available from other suppliers.
