Plastazote® LD29 is a light-medium-grade material with a density of 29kg/m3.
Plastazote® LD29 offers excellent physical properties, structural stability, and a uniform cell structure, making it well-suited for complex fabrication processes. It is frequently selected over lower-density grades for its superior finish after routing or water-jet cutting, also being preferred to higher-density alternatives like LD45 when a lighter, more cost-effective foam is sufficient. As such, LD29 is popular for presentation packaging, bespoke display cases, and industrial seals or spacers.
At Polyformes, we can supply not only Plastazote® LD29, but the full range of Zotefoam® materials. Whatever foam you need, our in-house conversion equipment also enables us to supply large foam parts and products quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
The values provided in this product information represent data gathered from random samples of Zotefoam’s production of Plastazote® LD29 foam and represent typical data. These are given to the best of our knowledge and should be considered as guidance for selecting a suitable grade for a given application.
