ZOTEK® NC50

ZOTEK® NC50 is a medium-density, high-performance nylon grade with a density of 54kg/m3.

A closed-cell polyamide 11 (nylon) foam, ZOTEK® NC50, provides an exceptional combination of high energy absorption, outstanding impact protection, extreme durability, and excellent chemical resistance. ZOTEK® NC50 is preferred over the lighter NC35 grade for applications that experience more severe impact forces or require higher load-bearing capacity and structural stiffness while retaining nylon’s high-temperature threshold. As such, it is a popular choice for advanced ballistic vest padding, heavy-duty military tactical gear, ruggedised sports protection, and high-impact industrial components.

If you’re unsure whether ZOTEK® is the best option for your application, we can help. Our foam experts can provide objective, unbiased guidance on material selection, supply sheets, converted packaging, or bespoke foam products, as required.
