ZOTEK® F OSU R Aviation R3

ZOTEK® F OSU R Aviation R3 is a high-performance PVDF foam, with a density of 68kg/m3.

ZOTEK F OSU R Aviation R3 is a closed-cell polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) foam that delivers superior structural rigidity, exceptional flame retardancy, and compliance with stringent OSU heat release and FAA/JAR fire, smoke, and toxicity (FST) standards. ZOTEK F OSU R Aviation R3 is typically selected over the lighter SR (semi-rigid) or standard F30 grades when the application demands a rigid, load-bearing core material with high compressive strength that can withstand mechanical fastening or heavy lamination. As such, it is a popular choice for structural composite sandwich panels, cabin interior walls and floor panel insulation inside commercial and military aircraft.

Our team of foam experts at Polyformes can provide free, impartial advice on the best foam grade and type for your specific product, industry or application. We can also supply both material and bespoke foam products, as a Zotefoams-approved fabricator.
