Plastazote® LD70

With a density of 70kg/m³, Plastazote® LD70 is the heaviest-duty material in the LD range.

Plastazote® LD70 closed-cell foam behaves almost as a semi-rigid block, providing unparalleled load-bearing performance, toughness, and durability. It is selected over all lighter grades when components are exceptionally heavy or sharp, or where the foam must survive long-term abrasion and rough environments without eroding. Typical applications include heavy engineering component transport, industrial machinery mounts, and high-load flotation systems.

Regardless of the foam material, packaging or products you require, at Polyformes, we can help. As Zotefoam® approved fabricators, we utilise state-of-the-art in-house conversion equipment to transform sheets of any size into tailored inserts, dunnage, and custom-engineered packaging solutions.
