A closed-cell polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) foam, ZOTEK® F40 HT Aviation delivers enhanced thermal stability, exceptionally low heat release values, and inherent chemical resistance. ZOTEK® F40 HT Aviation is selected over F30 when components operate at higher temperatures or require superior fire-retardant performance when laminated with aircraft upholstery materials (e.g. leather). It is a popular choice for high-temperature galley insulation (around ovens/refrigerators), chiller ducts, and window reveals where strict FAR/CS certification is mandatory.
